Why Have a Memorial Site?

A Memorial web site is a wonderful way to remember those things you so loved about a person. It gives others that loved them a place to 'visit' them and leave a message in your guestbook. And it's also very healing; it will help you work through the loss. It also gives you a place to introduce them to the world!

How Much Does it Cost?

The hosting company I use for my websites has a great package- you can get hosting (they put your website on the World Wide Web) for less than $8 a month- paid yearly. (At the time I'm writing this, they have a special for under $4 a month) That includes a Site Builder that's fairly easy to use, so you can build your own site. It also includes a lot of email addresses so you can get mail at your domain ... example: if my domain is www.InMemoryOfJim.com, then my mail would come to me@InMemoryOfJim.com. You can load hundreds of pictures and make your site have as many pages as you want to. HOSTING Company

If you have two people you want to make Memorials for, you can put them both on the same hosting package, with different domain names. It only costs you an additional $9.95 to register the extra domain name. So you could have InMemoryOfJim.com and MemoriesOfMary.com both hosted on one account.

The package includes a guestbook, page counter, and even a private chat room if you would like one.

I have hosted my websites with this company for about 8 years now and I am very pleased. They have good customer service, rarely have any downtime, and I've not had any major issues with them. HOSTING Company

Email me for prices - tell me what you'd like to have on the website. Please use the subject line: Design.
